የ100ኛው የኖቤል የሰላም ሎሬት በመሆን ለተሸለሙት ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አህመድ አሊ ክብር በተዘጋጀው ፕሮግራም ላይ የኖርዌይ ንጉሣውያን ቤተሰቦች የተገኙ ሲሆን ሥነሥርዓቱ የቱንም ያህል ጥንቃቄ ቢደረግበትም የተፈጸመ አንድ አስደናቂ ክስተት ነበር።

በሽልማቱ አሠጣጥ ሥነሥርዓት ላይ ንግግር ያደረጉት የኖቤል ኮሚቴ ሊቀ መንበር ቤሪት ራይስ አንደርሰን ንግግራቸውን ካጠናቀቁ በኋላ የሽልማቱን ዲፕሎማና ሜዳሊያ ለሰላሙ ሎሬት መስጠት ሲገባቸው እርሳቸው እንዳሉት “ክቡር ጠ/ሚ/ር በንግግር ሃሳቤ ተወስዶ ሽልማቱን ሳልሰጥዎ ቀረሁ” ብለዋል። በወቅቱም አዳራሹ በሳቅ ተሞልቶ የነበረ ሲሆን ይህም ድርጊት ባልተለመደ መልኩ ብዙዎችን ያስደመመ ሆኗል። በፕሮቶኮል ባለፈም በእርግጥ ልባዊና እውነተኛ ስሜት የታየበት ሆኖ አልፏል።
