The Highest Level of Greatness: Purpose-oriented, vision-centered, and values-driven greatness by Assegid Habtewold is now available. The author asserts that we all are greatness material. Silver Spring, MD, November 15, 2017 (Success Pathways Press)– This work is the culmination of more than two decades of research, observations, and reflections. The book begins by answering some fundamental questions such as: What is greatness? How do we measure greatness? Why have only a few achieved greatness? How did those few unleash their greatness? Was there a pattern the great ones adopted, which if we follow, it could enable us to unchain our greatness? Can anyone attain greatness? Are all greatness types equal? What are some of the lessons we can learn from the great ones to unleash our greatness in our unique ways?
When he was asked why he wrote on such a grander theme, Dr. Habtewold revealed: “Whether we would like to admit it or not, we all desire to be great. It’s ingrained in our DNA. Deep inside, we know that we’re greatness material. By any means possible, every one of us strives to succeed. We all have a craving within to become better and at the end of the day achieve greatness.” He further pointed out, “Unfortunately, throughout history, very few turned their aspiration into reality and realized greatness. What is more? Even among those who became great, many achieved unfulfilling greatness based on pure luck, inheritance or their exceptional gifts and talent plus sheer willpower by working hard. Of course, there were also a few who attained ‘greatness’ through brute force, corruption, and other illegal and indecent means. Thus, I decided to demystify greatness so as to inspire ordinary individuals to believe in themselves and the potential they carry to accomplish extraordinary things. I also came up with a framework to help them climb the ladder of greatness until they attain the highest level of greatness.”
