Ambassador Tiruneh Zena’s fake Human Rights Council is seeking legitimacy from the United Nations for his excellent job of turning blind eye on the atrocities committed right under his nose.
The need to be accredited by the United Nations gives the Commissioner and his bosses two advantages. From one angle, he may seek funding to keep his inactive office alive and may even share the money with his bosses. On the other hand he would try to claim recognition for silence on human rights abuse in Ethiopia as legitimate. This would undermine Amnesty International’s and Human Rights Watches Reports. If he succeeds, Zena would be awarded with a medal of the heist honor in the country for his service in the violation of human rights.
Let’s STOP him!! (Read the Alert here)

You know what? Unless you come up with a convincing strategy, he will succeed because Professor Andreas Eshete is UNESCO Chair for Education for Human Rights and Democracy and is special adviser to Meles/TPLF.

the first thing that this fake human right council must do is ,making it self ready to perform its functions and responsibilities in impartial ways.trying to fulfill its functions by fearing for the reaction of the ruling class and listening for the heart beat of those on power will make the commission nonexistent abinitio.seeking for recognition with out this readiness will be ironical.
Human right activism can not be done by dormancy rather it needs outspokenness as well as courage to face challenges what so ever.
So,the Ethiopian human right commission must redy it self for the aforementioned status before engaging in to some other steps.
