The Highest Level of Greatness: Purpose-oriented, vision-centered, and values-driven greatness by Assegid Habtewold is now available. The author asserts that we all are greatness material. He declares that since each individual is packed with unlimited potential, attaining greatness in one’s lifetime is his or her birthright.

Silver Spring, MD, November 15, 2017 (Success Pathways Press)This work is the culmination of more than two decades of research, observations, and reflections. The book begins by answering some fundamental questions such as: What is greatness? How do we measure greatness? Why have only a few achieved greatness? How did those few unleash their greatness? Was there a pattern the great ones adopted, which if we follow, it could enable us to unchain our greatness? Can anyone attain greatness? Are all greatness types equal? What are some of the lessons we can learn from the great ones to unleash our greatness in our unique ways?

When he was asked why he wrote on such a grander theme, Dr. Habtewold revealed: “Whether we would like to admit it or not, we all desire to be great. It’s ingrained in our DNA. Deep inside, we know that we’re greatness material. By any means possible, every one of us strives to succeed. We all have a craving within to become better and at the end of the day achieve greatness.” He further pointed out, “Unfortunately, throughout history, very few turned their aspiration into reality and realized greatness. What is more? Even among those who became great, many achieved unfulfilling greatness based on pure luck, inheritance or their exceptional gifts and talent plus sheer willpower by working hard. Of course, there were also a few who attained ‘greatness’ through brute force, corruption, and other illegal and indecent means. Thus, I decided to demystify greatness so as to inspire ordinary individuals to believe in themselves and the potential they carry to accomplish extraordinary things. I also came up with a framework to help them climb the ladder of greatness until they attain the highest level of greatness.

Concerning what make The Highest Level of Greatness unique, he enlisted a few reasons that differentiate it from other similar books. He said, “This book:

  • Shares three benefits of discovering one’s unique purpose.
  • Explains the trio roles of envisioning the accomplishment of purpose plays.
  • Identifies the triple reasons why discovering our unique core values and demonstrating an unwavering commitment is necessary to attain the highest form of greatness.
  • Narrates the stories of great individuals from diverse cultures such as Mother Teresa, Jesus Christ, Thomas Edison, George Washington Carver, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Moses, Nelson Mandela, Joan of Arc, Viktor Frankl, and so on. From these great stories, readers could be able to learn on how the great ones discovered their purpose, envisioned, demonstrated an unwavering commitment to their core values, and apply the lessons in their own lives and organizations.
  • Describes what leading a purpose-oriented, vision-centered, and values-driven life, relationships, organization (s), and leadership look like.
  • And more.”

When he was asked about whether greatness is for everybody, he responded: “Because of the unlimited potential packed within each person, attaining greatness should have been the norm, not an oddity. The great ones we all admire were where we’re today. Regardless of our educational background, social status, ethnicity, race, age, and gender, we are built to manifest greatness. We’re designed to unleash our greatness, which is chained within each one of us.” He further noted, “Notwithstanding who you are and where you’re in life right now, this book is written for you. As you read this book, you could be obscure in the eyes of others. Nobody knows you. As of today, you may be at the bottom of the hierarchy in your community, organization, and nation. When you look around you, you may not see any sign that resembles any form of greatness. Regardless, you’re a candidate to become one of the great world changers.”

In this book, the author encourages you to seek the highest level of greatness based on discovering your unique purpose, envisioning the accomplishment of your purpose, and showing an unwavering commitment to those values that define you, advance your purpose, and protect your vision from abortion or stillbirth. He wrote, “Not all greatness types are equal. Greatness has levels. Those who achieved the highest form of greatness led a purpose-oriented, vision-centered, and values-driven lifestyle. They changed the world, put a dent in the history of humanity, and left an enduring legacy. You too can achieve the highest form of greatness, and this book shares with you great insights and stories of many great individuals.”
